Girls night at the rodeo

My mom took me, V, Lindy, and Riley to the rodeo last night for a girls night. The little girls had a blast while we laughed ourselves to tears watching them. At one point viv and Riley were both headbanging to Trace Adkins. We all had a blast and vivi hasn't stopped playing with her overpriced light up toy.

Red River Trip

The Snell family just got back from our first ski trip. We loved it, although none of us totally mastered the skiing part. Vivi proved she can go extremely fast down the bunny slopes while I chose to slide down on my booty! Holland did good until his toes got cold and Jordan rocked it until he got lost and had to climb the mountain to avoid the black diamond. We figured out that the best way to get the V to sleep is stick her on a snowmobile and tubing in the snow is super fun. We are happy to be home but miss the snow!

Happy Birthday Grandpa

My dad came out to celebrate his birthday on Sunday. We had a fish fry on the back deck. He did most of the work while the Snell family ate. He would finish a batch of fries and we would eat them all! It was a gorgeous afternoon and my babies love them some grandpa!!! Vivi likes to make him come back in her room and play dolls, which is one of the cutest things ever to me. I am so lucky to have such a sweet daddy.

Soccer

Vivi got ahold of the camera at Holland's soccer game. Had some pretty good shots! What a gorgeous day for a game. The kids were more interested in playing tag after the game and chasing butterflies than making goals, but they are having a blast!

Snell's Port A Vacation

We finally went to the beach this year. I found a great deal at Port Royal (after peak season rates) and so we headed down to the coast for the weekend. The weather was perfect, the water was crystal clear, and the family had a blast. First day we went swimming in their huge pool, then ate at Moby Dick's. Holland did NOT like the restaurant. There was pirate stuff everywhere! I think the skeletons scared him! We went to the shark store for the Port A shark pics. Kiddos loved playing in the shark with daddy. While I was trying on bathing suits Vivi christened their stairs! Then back to the condo for cookies in bed and movies. Next morning we made french toast and mimosas for me and jordie and then headed to the beach. Wow, I've never seen the Texas beach that beautiful. No jellyfish or seaweed and the water was so clear you could see all the way to your feet! The kids had a blast! Finally they are both old enough to really enjoy it. After a great morning we went back to the condo for a nap then to Fin's for a relaxed dinner. That night we went for a night swim and then had popcorn and movies! Next morning we had breakfast then packed up. Went for one last swim in the awesome pool and then took off home. Had a blast, gonna do it again next year!

Waterslide in Hondo

We pulled out the waterslide and drove Mammaw's neighbor kids crazy! The kids had fun and then ate pizza, what a perfect evening!

Holland's Birthday

My baby turned 5, which is just insane! We celebrated by going to Beefy's and inviting everyone to hang out and eat burgers. Holland chose a dinosaur theme, which was awesome (and easy). We had a blast!
